Since 1960, the name Fred’s for Starters has been synonymous with quality and excellence in frozen appetizers. From its beginning at a small, family-owned Indiana plant, Fred’s has grown into a major supplier to restaurants, fast-food outlets, schools, hospitals, caterers, delicatessens and buying groups across North America.
This year, we celebrate a half-century of accomplishments, from the original patent for fritter forming and breading to the introduction of the first breaded mozzarella cheese stick to the spicy, jalapeno-infused appetizers that populate today’s full line of pre-cooked meats and vegetables.
