40 Years of Family Tradition

Since 1969, Bernardi has been a staple for high-quality frozen pasta and Italian fare. From its start at Mona’s, a quaint Italian restaurant famous for its tortellini and ravioli, Bernardi has shared its innovative, yet traditional, dishes with restaurant patrons across the country.

Today, we celebrate 40 years of pasta making and the Bernardi’s family tradition. This legacy continues with new twists on old-world recipes blended with the same nurturing care that Dick Bernardi took when he ran a cozy little restaurant in Toluca, Illinois.

To commemorate our 40th anniversary, we would like to share the story of Bernardi’s humble beginnings at Mona’s, where our passion for making great Italian food started.
